I think we saw this movie in San Miguel de Allende in 1964. I think it was dubbed into Spanish with English subtitles. I was very impressed by it.
I don’t remember your reaction. Probably hard to follow, anyway.
I wonder what they ‘re showing there now? Hope it’s not in a cineplex.

splendid film..my first viewing. i loved the faces of the extras(many of them non actors) cinematography moody and artistic.. reminded me of margaret bourke white and dorthea lang photographs.. i stayed up half the night again watching all the special material on the dvd. tom sewell
